According to this post Sony may be working on waggle too (dubbed PS3mote)!I suppose with so many rumors that Microsoft is working on a new waggle (motion-sensing) controller for the Xbox 360, Sony is rumored to be getting onboard the waggle train as well.
According to the post, N'Gai Croal and Geoff Keighley talked to EGM's executive editor, Shane Bettenhausen, who talked about Sony's own rumored controller.
Apparently, this new waggle wand from Sony will be a transforming controller allowing for multiple configurations. The question I have is, how will the nun-chuck portion of the controller work?
Call of Duty 5 and Resistance 2 were mentioned as games that would support the new controller, and since both games are being released this Fall, I would guess we're going to hear more news shortly about this controller, if it indeed exists. Soon the landscape of the next generation systems may be very different. Thanks to the success of the Wii we may see waggle across all next generation systems.
